Baby & Me (8- or 10-week sessions)

For toddlers 3 and younger with an adult caregiver

At a typical Luna Baby & Me class, your 0-3 year old can enjoy 40 minutes of bouncing and swaying musical fun with the guidance of an adult caregiver. Studies show that music teaches all of us, from infants to adults, how to learn by helping neurons in our brain form connections. Our class will not only stimulate your little ones’ speech and mathematical developments through singing and instrument playing while listening to a mix of nursery rhymes, classical music, and rearrangements of classic rock and current pop songs. While they develop their coordination and gross motor skills, we will sing, dance, and make lasting memories together! (*Every family will take home a photo from class on the last day of each session!)

Music & Play (8- or 10-week sessions)

For fun-loving 3-6 year olds

Time will fly by during our Luna Music & Play class when we’re singing and dancing while learning about music theory and music history the fun way! Each session, your 3-6 year old explores a different musical theme with activities like sing-a-long, body work, and instrument playing. Our monthly themes will teach your kiddos about different composers, genres, and styles while introducing simple music theory like rhythm and note reading to prepare them for their future music education. All session long, they’ll be singing and dancing along to anything from traditional African chants to Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony; they’ll try out the piano, ukulele and more while learning how to scat like Ella Fitzgerald and dance like Bruno Mars!

Constellation Ensemble Groups (8- or 10-week sessions)

For Musically Inclined 6-12 year olds

When you're a part of a Luna Constellation, you’ll learn the in’s and out’s of being in a band during our weekly rehearsal. Whether you'd like to sing and dance as a Vocal Star Glee Group, or just to jam out with your bands as a Rock Star or an Acoustic Star, everyone can learn the basics of their instrument of choice like Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, and more, while experiencing first-hand the importance of working as a team, learn performance skills such as practice tips and anxiety management. After a few sessions, these groups will have a chance to put all these lesson to practice and perform either on school location or at our Luna Student Showcase at our studio in the heart of the Alberta Arts District in NE Portland!
